Our Projects
THE BREAKFAST PROJECT
The Breakfast Project is the most well established community programme, and pre-dates the formation of CTIPA. It has been providing a hot cooked breakfast for the street homeless people in the town for more than 20 years.
The Breakfast Project is located at the St Petroc’s Building, Breadline, in the High Street.
Churches Together in Penzance Area provide funding for paid manager/chef and food purchases to provide cooked breakfast Monday to Friday and thus provides a gateway for the service users to access all the amazing support provided by St Petroc ( which is a separate charity ).
New volunteers are always welcome.

We are grateful to those who regularly provide cash to enable us to buy fresh food, and to pay a salary.
We know that everyone is suffering from the high cost of living since COVID – our example is the increased cost of eggs and even of baked beans during the last year or so – we reckon up by 20% and has had a noticeable difference to the amount of tins of beans donated via the supermarkets. In 2011/12 we would never have thought we would need to purchase tins of beans – as they were always the basic staple of donated goods. Now we regularly purchase these items.
Thank you all for your support. Nothing is taken for granted and we thank God daily.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat…” – Matthew 25:35
