The Giving Shop 2014 -2015

The Giving Shop closed and we were unable to find an alternative venue. This was such a great project which provided a “safe space” for people in the community who were lonely, somewhere safe to share fellowship alongside a nice cuppa.   

During the few years the Giving Shop was in operation there were lots of activities such as “knit and natter”, craft workshops; silver surfers computing skills learning; daily and weekly prayer groups.  

Nearly 10 years since the Giving Shop closed it’s doors, there is still the ongoing need for people to have such a safe space.  

The Giving Shop raised a lot of donations for the foodbank, for breakfast project, for street pastors,    for the women’s refuge and for St Petrocs.
